Mnemonic
أربعة خطوطٍ متعلّقة بالخطّ الأفقي الطويل الذي يصنّفه المعجم تحته. والصورة تحته نبتة: كأس زهرةٍ وجذورها. وليس في الرسم شيءٌ من النفي، وإنّما شابهته كلمة bù في النطق فاستولت على الرسم. والذي ينبغي إتقانه هو النغمة: فـ不 بالنغمة الرابعة منفردًا وقبل النغمات الأولى والثانية والثالثة (不大 و不来 و不好)، لكنّه يتحوّل إلى bú قبل نغمةٍ رابعةٍ أخرى: 不是 bú shì و不客气 bú kèqi.
