   Élève un adjectif au rang d’exclamation : 多么安静, comme c’est calme. Il n’appartient qu’à l’exclamation et se termine d’ordinaire par 啊. Ce n’est pas le 多 interrogatif : « à quelle distance », « combien » se disent 多 ou 多少.
