إنسانٌ 人 خُطّ عبر جسده خطٌّ واحد: فالإنسان أعطى الصوت، والخطّ تولّى العدّ. وقد انبسط الجسد في الخطوط الثلاثة الحديثة فصار خطًّا نازلًا في الأعلى، وقُرئ الباقي 十، وتحته تصنّفه المعاجم. واكتبه إلى جانب 干 وراقب الخطّ الأوّل: فـ千 يبدأ بخطٍّ نازل، و干 يبدأ بخطٍّ أفقيٍّ مستوٍ. وفي العدّ يُفضَّل 两千 على 二千، تمامًا كما يُفضَّل 两百 على 二百.
