把东西无代价地给别人
To make somebody a present of something. It takes two objects in the order recipient then thing: 送我一本书. 给 merely hands something over; 送 makes it a gift.

verbIn this sense the destination follows: 送你回家 "walk you home", 送他去机场 "take him to the airport". Seeing a guest to the door is a small courtesy Chinese hosts rarely skip.

With two objects the person always comes first and the thing second. Chinese has no way of moving the recipient to the end, as English does with "to me".
