This statement appears in the footer of every page on the site, in the metadata of every page, and in the structured data that describes the organisation to search engines. It is not buried here.

“HSK” and “HSKK” are the names of examinations administered by their respective authorities, and any associated trade marks are the property of their owners. They appear on this site only descriptively — to identify which examination a page helps you prepare for, in the same way a revision guide names the examination it revises for.

We use no official logo, seal, certificate design or visual identity belonging to any examination authority. We do not describe ourselves as an official partner, an authorised centre, an accredited provider or a registration agent, because we are none of those things. If you ever see a page on this site that implies otherwise, that is an error — report it and it will be corrected.

Every mock examination, section practice, diagnostic and exercise on this platform is written for HSK Guide by its editorial team. It is modelled on the published structure of the examinations so that practising it is useful, and it is labelled as unofficial wherever it appears.

Specifically, and without exception:

• We do not host, reproduce, resell or paraphrase past papers.
• We do not reproduce official vocabulary inventories or syllabus documents. Where you need one, get it from the examination authority.
• We do not state official scoring rules, pass marks or examination dates from memory or from third-party summaries.
• The AI tutor is instructed never to state examination rules from its own knowledge. Anything it says about structure or scoring comes from a source record on this platform, shown with its publisher and the date it was last verified.
• A score from a HSK Guide mock examination is not a prediction of an official score, and a readiness estimate is an estimate computed from your own results.

For registration, current examination structure, permitted materials, scoring, results, certificates, fees and test dates, go to the examination authority’s own website or to your registered test centre. Those are the only sources that can be relied on, and they are the only sources that can change the rules.

We deliberately do not republish those details here. A stale copy of an examination rule is worse than no copy: it looks authoritative and it is wrong. If you write to us asking whether you may bring a dictionary, or what this year’s deadline is, we will point you back to the authority — not because we are unhelpful, but because we would be guessing.

Some pages show level targets — a vocabulary count, a character count, an estimated number of hours. These are transcribed from a published standard into a curriculum record that stores the publisher, the edition, the date it was retrieved and the date an editor last verified it against the primary source.

• Where an editor has verified the figures, the page shows the source and the verification date.
• Where they have not yet been verified, the page says “not yet verified” next to them, in words, rather than presenting them as settled.
• Where a standard is revised, the record is versioned rather than overwritten, so a change can be traced.

Treat every such figure as indicative and confirm anything decisive with the examination authority. It is your examination, not ours.
