ثلاث صور. يبيّن السطر الصيني تحت كل صورة ما تعرضه؛ تحدّث عنها شفويًا نحو دقيقة. وابنِ إجابتك في ثلاث خطوات: قل ما تراه، ثم أضف التفاصيل بـ 在 أو 着 أو 正在، ثم اخرج من إطار الصورة بتخمين أو رأي. وسردُ الأسماء ليس وصفًا: فكل جملة تحتاج إلى فعل.
ثلاثة أسئلة مفتوحة. أجب عن كل سؤال شفويًا واستمرّ دقيقة على الأقل: اذكر رأيك، ثم سببه، ثم مثالًا من تجربتك، ثم اختم. وإذا انتهى السؤال بـ 为什么 فنصف المطلوب في ذلك الشطر، والإجابة التي تتجاهله نصف إجابة. والإجابات النموذجية تبيّن الطول والشكل المستهدفين لا الألفاظ الوحيدة الممكنة.
