Sections
2 sections, 30 questions, 55 minutes of section time.
Fourteen recordings: single sentences and two-line exchanges. In this practice section each recording plays twice and cannot be paused or rewound. At this level the answer is often a word you never hear, so follow the whole sentence — especially 没, 虽然, 比 and 了, which decide what actually happened.
Audio rules for this section
Sixteen items: gap filling, short texts and notices, matching and sentence building. Several wrong options are words taken straight from the text — appearing in the passage is not the same as answering the question.
Questions, options and answers are not shown on this page — the paper is only meaningful if you meet it for the first time inside the timer.
Before you start
The timer runs on the server, so refreshing will not give you extra time. Listening audio plays a fixed number of times, as set for this practice paper.
